2007 IACM 4th Conference on Cannabinoids in Medicine

The International Association for Cannabis as Medicine in cooperation with the Institute for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University of Cologne invited to the 2007 Meeting of the IACM on October 5-6, 2007 at the Holiday Inn, Cologne.

The IACM honoured four people for their major contributions to cannabinoid research and/or to the re-introduction of cannabis into modern medicine with the IACM Award . In 2007 the IACM Award for Basic Research went to Mauro Maccarrone, the IACM Award for Clinical Research to Donald Abrams, the IACM Award for Young Researchers to Giovanni Marsicano, and the IACM Special Award went to Raphael Mechoulam.
